Welcome to Super Purser! These Terms and Conditions, including any platform-specific clauses ("Terms" or "EULA"), govern your use of the Super Purser mobile application and its associated browser tools ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the End-User, and the App's owner Ayman Saafan ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Eligibility

To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age.

2. Scope of License and App Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a single device that you own or control.

Specific to Apple (iOS) Users: This license is limited to use on any Apple-branded Products that you own or control as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing.

3. User Content and Local Storage

Super Purser allows you to create and manage pre-flight planning information, including EK crew position assignments, experience levels, and IR/MFP requirements ("User Content"). You acknowledge and agree that all User Content is stored locally on your device. We do not host, back up, or sync your roster data or generated tables to external servers (excluding basic authentication credentials managed via Firebase Authentication).

Because your data remains exclusively on your device:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your device data.
• We cannot restore lost rosters, or generated position tables if your device is lost, damaged, or cleared.
• You are responsible for ensuring that any crew data you input complies with applicable privacy standards and your organization's internal guidelines regarding information handling.

4. Safari Extension & Data Extraction

The App includes an optional Safari Web Extension designed to facilitate the export of flight and crew roster information directly into the App.

• Scope of Access: The extension accesses web page content strictly when triggered by you for the sole purpose of parsing flight details and crew information.
• Local Processing: All parsing and data extraction occur locally within your browser and on your device. No extracted credentials, flight information, or roster details are transmitted to, recorded by, or stored on our servers.
• Independent Utility: The Safari Extension operates independently. We do not monitor, store, or intercept your web browsing activity outside the explicit export function.

5. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App or Safari Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to our authentication systems or source code.

6. Third-Party Services & Non-Affiliation

In using the App, you must comply with all applicable third-party terms, such as your mobile carrier's data agreement and Firebase/Google terms for authentication.

Super Purser is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Emirates, its parent companies, or any airline entity. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Intellectual Property

The App's code, design, branding, and extension scripts are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App software without our express written consent.

8. Apple-Specific Provisions

This Section 8 applies ONLY to users who obtained the App or its Extension through the Apple App Store.

9. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

10. Disclaimers

The App and Safari Extension are provided "as is." Because rosters are stored locally, we are not responsible for any data loss occurring due to hardware failure, app deletion, extension issues, or device loss. The use of the App is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or incidental damages (including loss of roster data or flight scheduling conflicts) arising out of your use of the App or Safari Extension.

12. Subscriptions and Trials

The App may offer premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions.

13. Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your Firebase authentication account via the 'Delete Account' button in the App. Local data deletion is managed by you by clearing data or uninstalling the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of UAE.
